DONATE HERE directly to World Bicycle Relief
We are a group of Harvard University Extension School students supporting the World Bicycle Relief organization in their incredible efforts to improve the lives of students, healthcare workers and entrepreneurs in rural Zambia and Zimbabwe. As part of six member team "Al Camino", we have taken on a challenge in creating awareness and collecting donations in benefit of the World Bicycle Relief organization. We have only two weeks to complete this challenge (until April 20th).
Simple, sustainable transportation in the form of a bicycle multiplies an individual's efficiency. Compared to walking, bicycles improve access to education, healthcare and economic opportunity by increasing carrying capacity and accessible travel distance while decreasing the time it takes to commute to and from schools, clinics and markets.
